The society

Since our foundation in 1926 we have grown from a small group of people to a Statewide community organisation of over 800 members preserving the history of Western Australia.

Our services

From small beginnings in 1926, the Society’s collection has grown to comprise thousands of items that tell stories of life in Western Australia and help to preserve and present our heritage. The Society offers a wide range of services.
